Inane City Times

Today a number of old timers braved extremely humid and sweaty conditions to venture out to their good ol' tea spot under an even older banyan tree. But alas, the tree is no more. It has been claimed by Aila, like many other trees all over the city. The cemented sitting area around the base of the tree, often referred to as 'The Throne' amongst its devotees, has also cracked under pressure from the roots of the tree as it was being uprooted.
Thus it has officially gone warmer and sweatier at our favourite tea stall. The area also appears strangely vacant - kind of like naked, for lack of a better expression - and rampant with cockroaches emanating from all around the remaining tree stump. Today a friend was attacked by a flying cockroach.
