That, my dear readers, is a money garland. ie. garland made of monies. (Dyoood!! #1)
The currency value of the garland in the picture is estimated to be anywhere between Rs.21 lakhs to Rs. 21 crores according to the Hindu. Don't ask me how they came across the number 21. (Dyoood!! #2)
In response to all the criticism she received for accepting gifts of such kind, Ms. Mayawati has stated that she will conduct parda farsh, literally translating to remove the curtain, rallies all across UP district headquarters of her party (the BSP) in order to reveal the conspiracy by such critics against her on March 25. It is a tad confusing as to how a rally may reveal a conspiracy, but there you have it. (Dyoood!! #3)
She would follow up on such aforesaid rallies with protests against the Women's Resevation Bill on April 14 and - this is the best part - demonstrations against price rise on June 22. (Dyoood!! #4)
Meanwhile her party is determined to continue gifting her garlands strung with currency as a token of their loyalty to her. (Dyoood I can't take no mooore!!)
