Rabindrasangeet in the air...

New development in my school para (locality). At the Loudon St.-AJC Bose Rd. crossing there is an electronic monotone version of Robindrroshongeet playing 24/7. Its like those sounds cars make while they're in reverse. Except its so loud that it feels like the entire goddamn street is in reverse.

I can't figure what brought this on or why this particular junction. Either ways, the aforementioned crossing lends a surreal tinge to the evening for the passers-by.

this comment isn't about this post but about the blog in general instead:

this emotion emerges due to a complete lack of work to do - which translates to reading all the blog-posts ever from "the abyss" and "mumblings".

i enjoy the day-to-day observations of life in cal (or whichever other city you are in at the time) but somehow the lack of the usual poetic intermissions is disappointing. i enjoy reading the updates on this blog but they seem quite anaesthetised and sterile. there's no "touch" to them on occasion.

just a thought.

maybe we'll see some more raw, unadulterated poetic bursts here or there?

please?

im not sure if I'm capable of the 'raw', 'unadulterated' bursts anymore. they belong to an age and person that has been put to rest with "the abyss". what is left are mumbles.
i don't think its fair to say that there has never been a 'touch' to anything on "mumblings". there has. just not as prolifically as in "the abyss". but this is what it is, im sorry.
but thank you for asking, and thank you for caring enough to ask old friend. we'll discuss this over hot tea and cigarettes; soon.

ah, of course there is "touch" to the posts. you know i'm only complaining because of a few things that i miss. which i know is wrong - the audience must take what it gets, and since it enjoys what it gets in this case, it shouldn't really have much to complain about.

write on.

i know what you're saying but its not just that boss. i can't do what i can't do. its really that simple. i'll try though, in private for a while, but i just don't enjoy it anymore...
